Groups & Partner sessions makes training more affordable as well as being a fun way to workout. It also allows for the greater motivation and accountability from the other group members.
Having had a life long interest in health and fitness, I sought to expand my knowledge and experience by gaining a Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma from Niagara College in 2007 and became a Certified Personal Trainer by the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP).
My career as a Personal Trainer began at Goodlife Fitness in downtown Toronto. I spent 2 years, from 2007 - 2009, working near the financial district helping a diversity of clients to achieve their personal fitness goals. In 2009, I relocated to Vancouver and began working at Steve Nash Sports Club.
Always keen to continue to learn and grow, I completed my Athlete Performance Mentorship program, Phase 1 in 2011 and Phase 2 in 2012. A NCCP Olympic Weightlifting Course and TRX Suspension Training Course followed in 2013.
In April 2013, I decided to branch out and begin my own personal training company. Now working with clients throughout Vancouver, primarily training out of Club 16, downtown Vancouver at Vancouver Convention Centre. As well as working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with various sport teams at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
Always an athlete at heart, I have a passion for sports. I can't pass up the opportunity to play any sport. Currently, I play in local football and basketball leagues, my two favourite sports. I also regularly play soccer and baseball. In Vancouver, it's easy to play sports year round but I especially try to maximize every moment of the sunshine, adding in some tennis or swimming a few laps in Kits pool between games.
When not playing sports or working with clients I'm dedicated to my own workout and training regime, not only for athletics and function but also aesthetics. In November of 2012, I competed in my first fitness competition in the Men’s physique category and qualified for provincials with a top 5 finish. With my varied fitness background we will work together to meet your own fitness goals.
